BOGDANA Monastery - Stefan cel Mare village, Bacau County.
Convent for nuns, founded by chancellor Solomon Barladeanu, in 1670. Developed
in the 19th century; consolidated and transformed in museum
in 1977; painted between 1985-1986. In the monastery's
cemetery we find a wooden church dated 1750.
Dedication day: "The Holy
Trinity", the second day after Whitsuntide.
