Dealu  Stelea  Viforata 

DEALU  Monastery - Viforata commune, Dambovita county.
Convent for nuns, founded during Matei Basarab's time, it appears in documents in 1431, during Alexandru Aldea's reign. Here we find the head of Mihai Viteazul Voivode and the tomb of Radu cel Mare, Mihai Movila and other voivodes.
Dedication days: "Saint Nicholas", 6 December and "The Holy Virgin's Veil", 1 Octomber.

STELEA  Monastery - 6 Stelea Street, Targoviste town, Dambovita county.
Convent for monks, founded by sword bearer Stelea in 1582, rebuilt by Vasile Lupu in 1645.
Dedication day: “The Resurrection”, Easter.

VIFORATA  Monastery - Viforata commune, Dambovita county.
Convent for nuns, founded by Vlad V Voivode in 1530-1532, restored by Radu Mihnea in 1635, and rebuilt by Matei Basarab in 1635. The present buildings date from the time of Constantin Brancoveanu and his wife, Lady Maria. The iconostasis is sculpted by Karol Storck.
Dedication day: “Saint George”, 23 April.
